WELCOME!
It gives us immense pride to welcome you all to Daventry RFC as we host our second Alliance Festival for the Under 11 and Under 12 age groups in 2026.
Following the tremendous success of last year’s event, we are absolutely delighted to have been awarded the festival once again. It is a testament to the hard work of our volunteers, coaches, players and supporters that we are trusted to deliver what promises to be another outstanding celebration of grassroots rugby.
Daventry RFC is currently thriving as a club. While our First XV results have not quite mirrored the success of previous seasons, it is important to recognise the context. After achieving back-to-back promotions, there naturally comes a period of consolidation and levelling within the league structure. What remains unwavering, however, is the strength and depth of our playing membership, regularly fielding three, and often four, senior sides on a Saturday is something we are incredibly proud of.
Our Ladies section continues to go from strength to strength, consistently fielding a team in the Inner Warrior League and building a vibrant and competitive environment for female players. Much of the growth in the women’s game can be attributed to the inspirational impact of the Women’s Rugby World Cup. We were honoured to play a small part in that journey by hosting international teams here at Daventry, including Italy, Japan, and the eventual world champions, England women's national rugby union team, the Red Roses!
That experience left a lasting legacy within our club and community.
Perhaps most encouraging of all has been the substantial growth across our Minis and Juniors sections. We have seen an increase of over 30% in new players taking up the game across the age groups. This growth reflects not only the appeal of rugby itself, but the inclusive, supportive, and family-orientated environment that Daventry RFC is proud to provide.
The Alliance Festival represents everything that is positive about our sport — Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship.
We look forward to welcoming players, coaches, families and supporters for what promises to be a fantastic day of rugby and community spirit.

Hi everyone,
Welcome to the 2026 Alliance Festival at Daventry RFC!
As with many community clubs, our team is made up of dedicated volunteers. We truly appreciate your support in helping us keep the club in great condition throughout the festival.
A few important reminders:
· No dogs are allowed.
· Please avoid walking across the running track with muddy boots/shoes – use the designated walkways.
· Do not clean your boots on the patio.
· No boots inside the clubhouse (changing room toilets may be used if needed).
· Use the rubbish bins provided and, where possible, take your rubbish home with you.
· No glass is permitted near the pitch areas.
